Some aircraft avionic sytems are aquired and stored by the data acquisition system using the ARINC 429 interface including the Inertial Reference System (IRS), the Flight Management System (FMS) and the Air Data Computer (ADC).

While the IRS is needed for the processing of wind and turbulence data, the other systems are mainly used as backups and for quality checks.
